Japanese cinema program booklets — eiga panfuretto (映画パンフレット) — were produced for theatrical releases from the late 1940s through the 1980s. At their best, during the 1950s and 1960s, they are beautifully designed objects: illustrated, photographically rich, and written with the seriousness that Japanese film culture brought to cinema in that period.

This category covers collecting guides, historical context, and individual item pages for programs currently or recently listed on eBay. Items range from major studio releases to smaller independent productions; directors from Kurosawa and Ozu through to the Japanese New Wave.
